Vänersborg Rödfärg (2022)

Cultural conversations and public events involving the cooking of traditional sludge-paint made from Swedish soil. With the support of retired foresters and boatbuilders from the local community, archivists and the head of the local museum. Iron rich soil was located and then traditional rödfärg paint cooked in the town square and tinned as part of the accompanying exhibition. Commissioned by På Väg 45 and hosted by Vänersborg Konsthall.
